Meet the founders...

Anjali and Kayleigh met through their leadership on the Mayor’s Young Leaders Advisory Council, where they discovered their mutual drive to close the educational gap in Jacksonville. Fueled by their shared passion, they co-founded Passion Pathways Jacksonville to ensure every student has access to the resources and opportunities they deserve. Together, they’re working to create a future where education empowers all. Scroll down to meet our team!

Co-Founder and Executive Director

Anjali Gusani

Anjali is a high school senior passionate about business, STEM, and civic engagement. She is the coordinator for the robotics program at the Sanctuary on 8th Street, where she helps inspire students to explore technical skills and problem-solving. Her leadership roles include serving as the President of the Mayor's Young Leaders Advisory Council, as a 2024 Bank of America Student Leader, and as a U.S. Youth Ambassador to Chile and Argentina. An Eagle Scout and advocate for change, she aspires to pursue advanced studies in business and public affairs to further her goal of driving positive impact on a local and global scale.

Kayleigh Gutierrez

Kayleigh Gutierrez, a senior at Riverside High School and early college student at FSCJ, is pursuing an associate degree while aspiring to obtain an MD-PhD to become a physician and medical researcher. Her medical interests span the brain, organ functionality, and cellular biology. As a Youth Council Leader for State of the Yoyng People and former Secretary of Mayor’s Young Leaders Advisory Council, Kayleigh collaborates with leaders to empower youth and foster community engagement. She aims to advocate for restorative health practices and promote accessible, equitable care in her future medical career.
